Smart Innovator in Facilities Management Software

Trackplan has been identified as a Smart Innovator in facilities management software by Verdantix in a recent report.

Verdantix are a leading independent analyst of the facilities sector and its technologies.  Verdantix publish regular reports distributed to over 6,000 facilities executives focusing on trends and innovations in the facilities space.

The recent report titled “Smart Innovators: Facility Optimisation Management” is aimed at executives responsible for real estate and facility management software selection.  It describes how new software solutions transcend the old siloes for energy management and asset management to create a new vision for facilities optimisation.  It identifies innovations
that buyers need to be aware of when considering solutions and provides examples of facility optimisation
benefits achievable.

The report references Trackplan’s work with Black Bear Beacons to use “plug and play” beacon technology to capture real-time data from stationary and mobile equipment to facilitate more efficient maintenance vendor management.

Trackplan are also intending to introduce an IoT “plug and play” platform during 2018.  Users will be able to select from a menu of sensors and devices provided by 3rd party IoT specialists and manage these and their data and actions through the Trackplan application.  It will provide a central hub for facilities users to manage all things IoT (Internet of Things) alongside their traditional core responsibilities including reactive and planned maintenance, sites, assets and contractors.
